About Us

We are Gimnasio Campestre Los Cerezos

Since 2000, we have collaborated with more than 5,000 families to guide their children towards their life purpose, enhancing skills such as self-knowledge, critical thinking and global awareness. As a school of entrepreneurs, we are committed to forming autonomous individuals, impacting lives and transforming society towards balance and happiness.

Our history

1998

Since 1998, responding to the educational need, our pedagogical project has been inspired by Gerardo Schmendling and María Carolina Ramírez.

2000

In 2000, we founded Gimnasio Campestre Los Cerezos with families committed to the pedagogy of love and international education. We stand out for academic excellence, values, autonomy and critical thinking.

2009

In 2009, Tiny Town was born, a preschool inspired by the health and well-being of the little ones. Additionally, we expanded our facilities and diversified our educational offerings to adapt to changing needs.

2010

In 2010, we obtained authorization for the International Baccalaureate (IB), establishing ourselves as a globally recognized institution and becoming part of ACCBI.

2012

In 2012, we received our first ISO 9001 quality certification from Bureau Veritas.

2016

In 2016, we implemented the FORCE Entrepreneurship Diploma, developing business and entrepreneurial skills in our students and preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century. We also established a partnership with the University of La Sabana.

2017

In 2017, we became a pedagogical reserve at the University of Valladolid, Spain.

2018

In 2018, our students participated for the first time in Mentes Brillantes, the prestigious entrepreneurship competition at the Externado University of Colombia, winning first place. Since then, we have been consistent finalists, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in education focused on entrepreneurship and management.

2022

In 2022, we partnered with the Externado University of Colombia to strengthen our entrepreneurship and business management programs.

2023

In 2023, we began the process to become an Apple Distinguished School by implementing over 60 new Apple devices and creating our Apple Lab.

At present

At present, with over 25 years of history, we educate citizens prepared to face challenges and contribute to the common good.

We continue our legacy of excellence and commitment, preparing new generations for a future full of opportunities.
